第四場戲可獨立演出#

第四場戲的早期版本曾被獨立用作朗讀劇/短劇，在非洲、亞洲、美國演出多年。只需極少改編，今日仍可如此使用。

舞台兩個出入口#

舞台需設兩個入口：

• 舞台右側：從街道進入（外部）。
• 舞台左側：通往房屋的內間（家中）。

在第四場戲中，建議大兒子 Adam 從觀眾席走道入場，並在右下方較低的場地演出他的場景——

這種安排能在視覺上強化「他站在家門外、與筵席保持距離」的張力。

第一場戲：父親折斷的木杖#

製作方式：

• 取一根約四呎長、直徑約一吋的圓棍（掃帚柄、木榫或天然木枝皆可）。
• 用細鋸在棍中段鋸入約四分之三。
• 塗上顏色（遮住鋸痕）。
• 演出時，父親即可輕易地用膝蓋折斷它。

觀眾預備：印出路加福音 15:11-32#

若預期觀眾不熟悉路加福音 15:11-32，建議將此段經文印在節目單中。

「Abuna」這個稱呼#

• Abuna 在阿拉伯文中意為「我們的父親」（our father），是對祭司的合宜稱呼。
• 若有需要，可改為「父親」（Father）。

詩歌：「The Cross of Christ」#

第四場戲中，Shaluk 預備筵席時所唱的歌名為「The Cross of Christ」——

這是一首埃及村莊民謠（An Egyptian Village Folk Tune），詞作者署名為 Saleeh Al-Maseeh。
