第四場戲可獨立演出#

第四場戲的早期版本曾被獨立用作朗讀劇/短劇,在非洲、亞洲、美國演出多年。只需極少改編,今日仍可如此使用。

舞台兩個出入口#

舞台需設兩個入口:

  • 舞台右側:從街道進入(外部)。
  • 舞台左側:通往房屋的內間(家中)。

在第四場戲中,建議大兒子 Adam 從觀眾席走道入場,並在右下方較低的場地演出他的場景——

這種安排能在視覺上強化「他站在家門外、與筵席保持距離」的張力。

第一場戲:父親折斷的木杖#

製作方式:

  • 取一根約四呎長、直徑約一吋的圓棍(掃帚柄、木榫或天然木枝皆可)。
  • 細鋸在棍中段鋸入約四分之三
  • 塗上顏色(遮住鋸痕)。
  • 演出時,父親即可輕易地用膝蓋折斷它

「Abuna」這個稱呼#

  • Abuna 在阿拉伯文中意為「我們的父親」(our father),是對祭司的合宜稱呼。
  • 若有需要,可改為「父親」(Father)。

詩歌:「The Cross of Christ」#

第四場戲中,Shaluk 預備筵席時所唱的歌名為「The Cross of Christ」——

這是一首埃及村莊民謠(An Egyptian Village Folk Tune),詞作者署名為 Saleeh Al-Maseeh
